One of my favorite non-profit organizations is Science with a Mission. Partly because
it was started and run by someone whom I admire and consider a good Christian friend,
Alynne MacLean, but also because of the good work the organization does. Simply put
SMI, provides simple diagnostic tests to developing countries. Diagnosing the proper
illness is sometimes as important as having the necessary medicine to treat the disease.
SMI provides simple tests that do not require electricity or other sophisticated

To help support SMI we are having a Fund Raiser. We are offering a bracelet made
with multi-colors of oval shaped millefiori beads. A sterling silver cross is attached.
Bracelet is 7 ½ inches with an 1 inch extender Suggested donation $25.00 (50% will
go directly to SMI)
